Brass Monkey’s 7th Birthday

When I was at art college, I thought that one of the best gigs I would love to get is to make posters for venues or clubs....and I finally got it.

The clients would like funky illustrations with a retro touch, weren’t keen on any sexy models or cliches - dream. I made the first poster featuring happy monkeys at a dope birthday party, totally 70’s.

The client’s feedback: “I think it’s really cool. Any chance you can make it more 80’s?”
